Hello BMHA Families, The BMHA Board is looking to fill a 1 year term position on the Board for the Sponsorship/Fundraising Convenor.
Below is a description of the position. If you are interested in being considered for this position please email BMHA back by June 10th.
Alicia Carpenter will work with the new Sponsorship/Fundraising Convenor to ensure a smooth transition this Summer with the Sponsors. This position will be responsible for the Volunteers for the Rockton Fair Food Booth and Maple Leafs Raffle with support from the Board.
Sponsorship / Fundraising Convenor
A: Interacts with all current sponsors to secure funding for the coming BMHA season;
B: Sources new sponsors in the community to support the BMHA;
C: Communicates with teams to ensure any fundraising they do does not impact current BMHA sponsors;
D: Facilitates collection of sponsorship funds and remits to Treasurer;
E: Ensures sponsors are appropriately recognized with plaques, arena signage or by whatever other means deemed necessary;
F: Maintains and updates the sponsorship board;
G: Facilitates and/or oversees BMHA fundraising projects;
H: Facilitates collection of fundraising funds and remits to Treasurer; and
I: Ensures Board of Directors approves all fundraising projects;
