Bandits bring in the holidays in style with weekend sweep
The Bandits rebounded from their 10-2 loss in New Hamburg by putting in three dominant performances over the weekend.

The Bandits got the weekend started right with a 9-1 win in Ayr.  Luca Filice in particular had his best game of the season, pulling out some flashy saves, including a full splits toe save on an unsuspecting Flames forward.

Colin Racz moved up to forward for the game with Ryan Hood being away and did not disappoint, picking up his first three points of the season.  Jew Tex also had a strong offensive game with two goals, and both Josh MacDonald and Sebastien Haazer picked up hat tricks.  Logan Galer as well had a "cap trick" with assists on two of Sea Bass' and one of Josh's goals.

Beverly followed up with an unbelievable offensive performance at home against Plattsville, winning 13-3.  Sebastien Haazer scored an eye popping 7 goals to take a strong lead in the team's scoring race.  Adam Burnett picked up two assists, and also had an outstanding game defensively.  In fact, the defensive core of Adam, Jack MacPhee, Colin Racz and AP player Thomas Wilson were fantastic, allowing few shots and only a single goal before the line shuffling started with a few minutes left.

Logan Galer picked up five points, including his second consecutive cap trick to go along with two goals.  Luca Filice also managed a cap trick, a rare occurrence for a goalie.  Cam Andree, who was also called up with Thomas Wilson, made his presence felt with a goal and an assist.

The Bandits finished off their perfect weekend with a 6-2 win in Paris.  After a slow start that saw Beverly down 2-1 after one period, the club picked it up in the last two periods.  If not for an unbelievable performance by the Paris goalie, this game could have been much more lopsided, as the Bandits peppered the Wolf Pack net minder with more than 50 shots.

Noah Main put in an excellent game at both ends of the ice.  The work that all four of the defense core put in at the Paris blue line, keeping pucks in the zone constantly, lead to many of the chances and goals that the Bandits put on the board.  Jack MacPhee, new skates and all, skated hard all night, and helped create as many chances as he stopped.  Stephanie Laidlaw was strong moving the puck and moving opposing forwards from in front of Luca Filice.

Logan and Sea Bass did most of the damage offensively, picking up two goals and two assists each.  Josh MacDonald and Jex Tew added a goal each; Karson Sherwood, Jack MacPhee, and Noah Main added assists.

With the wins, the Bandits secured at a minimum the number five seed in the division, which is the top seed for the B division playoffs.  That said, with three games left, these Bandits still have a chance of winning the league, and should they win out, a spot no lower than 3rd place.
