Bandits Pee Wee #1 go to the Semi-Finals in Bradford!!
The Beverly Bandits Pee Wee # 1 team played in the very difficult Bradford Blue and Gold Tournament from Jan 17-19,2020 and made it to the Semi-Finals before losing to The Nickle Centre Blast who eventually won the tournament Championship.Beverly ended the Tournament in 3rd place out of 16 Pee Wee teams from all across Ontario,a great result with a 4 wins ,1 loss record.
Beverly Finished the Round Robin at 3 wins and 0 losses and beat the following teams to get to the Quarter Finals,Cumberland Dukes-6-4,Kanata Bruisers-6-2,Kanata Blazers-6-3.In the Quarter Final game Beverly played a very exciting game vs the Kanata Bruisers again and this time the game went into Overtime before Beverly scored in the 4 on 4 to win the game 3-2.In the Semi-Final Beverly faced a very tough and difficult team in the Nickle Centre Blast and lost 7-1.The Beverly Team played very hard and never gave up in this game.Nickle Centre would later beat the Nepean Raiders in the final 5-1.
Congratulations to the entire team for playing very well and showing excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament.The Semi-Final result and 3rd place finish is excellent in such a large tournament.Congratulations also go out to our GAME MVP,s as follows,Thomas Wilson,Nick Halcovitch,Sam Schuurman,Quinn Hughes,and Daniel Caines in goal.Congratulations also goes out to our Team Tournament MVP,Finlay Larche for his very consistent and excellent play on the Beverly defence!!!
