Back on the Ice!
The City will be re-opening the arenas on Monday February 22 and they will be under the Red Zone regulations of 10 participants plus two coaches allowed on the ice. We are hopeful that one parent per player for the IP, Novice and Atom (U7, U9, U11) will be allowed to stay in the arena with their player as a guardian but I have been told that this will be addressed at a Zoom meeting from the City that I will attend on Thursday. I will let everyone know after the meeting what the outcome is.

So fingers crossed we will have 5 weeks of hockey with each team on the ice once a week. The calendar will be done shortly and if you forget which team your player is on just click on the team site from the home page and then click on Roster and the players first names are all listed there. You should be hearing from your coach today as well. Please remember to complete the online screening for your player prior to heading to the arena and that only one parent per player is allowed in to help with skates and that parent must also complete the online screening. Masks must be worn by everyone including the players. Please remind your player to only remove their mask when they put on their helmet and to please put it back on again at the end of practice. We will have information about refunds for the closure periods that we have faced at the end of March after we have completed hockey for the season. As usual any questions please reach out.
