Pee Wee #2 Charity Fundraiser
On January 25th the Peewee#2 team held a bottle drive in support of Camp Trillium. On February 9th the Bandits presented
Carrie Arnold from Camp Trillium with a cheque for an amazing $4300.00! Our team was also congratulated by Walter Gretzky who paid the team a visit to
show his appreciation for their achievements. Congratulations to the
Peewee#2 team for a great job!
Camp Trillium is a camp dedicated to children and families who have been affected by Cancer. It's programs are funded strictly through donations as government funding is not provided. The camp offers activities such as canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sailing, a high ropes course and many other activities. It’s a place where kids and their families can enjoy time together without feeling scared, intimidated and out of place. The Peewee#2 team collected empties and monetary donations from friends, family and surrounding communities. On February 9th the Bandits presented Carrie Arnold from Camp Trillium with a cheque for an amazing $4300.00!
