One time refund due to vaccine mandate
The Executive have decided to offer a one time refund for players that are having to pull out of hockey due to the mandatory vaccine requirements. If you have a player who is 12 years of age or over and are not getting them vaccinated you must email us by this Wednesday September 15 at 6:00 pm to qualify for a refund. This refund is available to all players U8 and above, after this time no refunds will be given to any player in U8 and above. Players registered in U5 and U7 will still have our regular refund policy in effect and have until October 31 to withdraw. Please note that if you are in the process of getting your player vaccinated prior to Oct 31 you are still able to go on the ice now

A refund will be issued minus a $50 administration fee as we need to cover the costs of what we are charged for Credit Card payments/banking fees.

As we are all aware the rules around Covid are constantly changing but we have to make these tough decisions now as our Association needs to fulfil League commitments and we have ice costs, insurance fees and League fees that must be covered. For that reason we need to know concrete numbers going forward and would not be able to offer any refunds after Wednesday September 15.

As a parent you must make the decision now based on what we know, which is,
All players 12 and over, all coaches, volunteers, bench staff and executive must provide proof of full vaccinations by October 31
When entering the arena you must have used the Provincial Health Screening questionnaire and sign in with your name and phone number for contact tracing purposes
All persons entering the arena must wear a mask and socially distance inside the arena
As of right now the City has given us no information that they will require vaccinations for parents and spectators but like everything this could potentially change
As of right now the OMHA only requires players 12 and over to be fully vaccinated however they did state in their document that this could change if the Province makes vaccines available to those players under the age of 12, this may not happen but again it is something that is out of our control and we will be financially committed by this time so no refunds can be given at a later date

Sandra and Debbie will be at the arena for the next two weeks for Vaccine Verification so if you have your two doses already please bring your vaccination receipt with you to show us, We will not be keeping the receipts we will be checking off that proof has been shown only.

It is a difficult task that we are faced with but we are doing our best to comply with the mandates and provide a safe return to hockey in our community.

Thank-you all for your understanding.

For refunds simply email [email protected] with your intent to withdraw prior to 6:00 pm this Wednesday September 15.
