Midget #1, 2015-2016 (Beverly Minor Hockey)

Courtney Vanderhout played her final game as a Beverly Bandit on Sunday, April 3rd during the exciting championship game against the Thorton Tigers at the Syl Apps Memorial Tournament in Paris, Ontario.  

The Beverly Bandits Midget 1 went to Paris from April 1st to 3rd and came home winners of the very difficult 2016 Syl Apps Memorial Tournament. Congratulations – an incredible end to an impressive season!

The Beverly Bandits played 6 games vs some very good teams posting a mark of 5-1 on its way to the Championship.On Friday evening the Bandits defeated the Brock Wild 3-1.On Saturday the Bandits started slow and lost 3-2 to Midland before rebounding and beating New Hamburg # 2 2-1 with 2 goals in the 3rd period.On Sunday the Bandits defeated Midland in the Quarters 2-0,Dresden in the semis 3-1 and Thornton in the final 2-1 for the Championship win.     It was a super team effort with great goaltending ,steller defence and aggressive play-making in the opponents zone.This was a great way to ...

The Beverly Bandits played very well in the Arthur tournament on January 10th taking 3rd place out of 8 teams and going 2 wins and a loss,outscoring the opposition 9 to 4 over the 3 games played.

The  Bandits came out flying Sunday after a difficult performance 24 hours earlier and beat Woolwich 2-1 in a fast entertaining game with very few penalties on both sides.Both teams had plenty of scoring chances and the goaltending was excellent.Curtis Abernethy played a solid game!!      The Bandits scored first with Ben Giles scoring in the 2nd from Callum Williams.Bailey Davidson-Gouveia got the winner from the slot on a nice low shot that trckled in between the goalies pads early in the 3rd.Woolwich came back and made it a 1 goal game with 5 minutes left and then the Bandits held on with ...
